Soon (Feb. 4th, actually) I start running a contest for every date of the Dr. Manhattan and Foxy Shazam tour. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up.
Also, I posted a review today for Your Best Friend. I wasn’t CRAZY about their self-titled debut, but they are a solid throwback to what I used to love about bands like Thursday, and so, I enjoyed it for what it is. Seems like some of their...
Well, the bad news is that I just spilled coffee on my laptop and I’m praying that it’ll dry out and still work, but the good news? I got a watermark for new Manchester Orchestra today.

Projects for the next week:
1. Further investigate digital SLR prices. Find a good one and buy? Craigslist, baby.
2. Finalize plans and prepare for NYC trip. Plan budget and STICK TO IT. Wrap up all emails and small projects.
3. Prep questions for Pierce the Veil interview.
4. Your Best Friend review.
5. Last few emails for Unsigned Band Sponsorship Hook-Up and get everything ready for...
One of coolest things about working here is that sometimes, the good opportunities knock on your own door. A few weeks ago, Fueled By Ramen asked if we wanted to do a tell-all sit down interview with Cute Is What We Aim For at Take Action. Jamie Pham and I are handling this bad boy in February, and I think it’s gonna be a good one.
Also, the Unsigned Band Sponsorship Hook-Up is still on. In...

Easily one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. Don’t even waste your time. It was so bad, I didn’t even want to keep my 3D glasses. Not that the two can even compare, but Andrew Bird’s new album, Noble Beast, is kilometers more worthwhile. I even gave it a 84 percent.
Thank you and goodnight.

I’ve talked about Bon Iver before, but I think it’s time to beat a dead horse. The Blood Bank EP, which will be out on Jan. 20th, is one of my favorite EPs of 2009, so far. I know, I know, it’s way…
